Jade Leonard

Jade is one of the Directors of the Ballarat Podiatry Clinic. Jade has a reputation in the Ballarat region for being one of the best podiatrists when it comes to foot pain and lower limb biomechanics. Jade is driven by helping people ensuring that you leave an appointment with her, feeling better than when you walked in. In her spare time, Jade likes to keep active, running, pilates and working hard in the gym. Jade’s special interests in podiatry are heel pain and anything related to exercise, whether it is walking or running too much.

Robbie Thorogood

Robbie Thorogood

Robbie is one of the Directors of the Ballarat Podiatry Clinic and a very experienced podiatrist across all facets of podiatry. If it’s foot-related, he has probably seen it before. Robbie is driven by being able to help people and improving their knowledge about health - ensuring that you get better, but also have the tools to stay better. In his spare time, Robbie loves to go running & is currently on a quest to find the best bacon and egg roll in Victoria. Robbie’s special interests in podiatry are forefoot pain (under the ball of the foot or the big toe joint), in-grown toenails and the impacts of cancer treatments on the feet.

Gemma Rose

Gemma has nearly 10 years of Podiatry experience working locally in Ballarat. She oversees development of staff at Ballarat Podiatry.


Gemma enjoys all aspects of podiatry and is skilled in assessment and management of sporting injuries, nail surgery, shockwave therapy, dry needling, orthotic prescription and modification, diabetes foot care and assessment, skin and nail conditions as well as paediatric foot problems.

Away from the clinic Gemma enjoys busy family life as a Mum to her son Rupert, going on hikes and adventures in nature, practicing yoga as well as spending time with her Toy Poodle, Leo.

Mary Naam

Mary is a podiatrist who is driven by participating in people’s health care journey to help them achieve their goals. In her spare time, Mary likes to spend time with her family and friends, as well as sampling the best food she can get her hands on. Mary’s special interests in podiatry are muscle and tendon pain as well as preventing diabetic foot complications.

david royle

David Royle

David is an experienced podiatrist who has worked in Melbourne, Geelong and Ballarat. David enjoys the management of biomechanical injuries, using his sporting background to assist patients on their recovery and performance. He also regularly manages ingrown toe nail pathologies both in a conservative and surgical capacity.


David is passionate about psychology and is currently completing a Master’s in Psychology. Invested in a healthy physical and mental lifestyle, David likes exercising, reading and cooking delicious food. He is always willing to talk about his latest cooking efforts and the performance of the Essendon Football Club.


kyle abrahams

Kyle Abrahams

Kyle is a podiatrist whose interests lie in both musculoskeletal conditions and diabetic foot care. Kyle moved to Ballarat from New Zealand and we are incredibly lucky to have him working with us at Ballarat Podiatry.


Kyle is driven to helping people get back into doing the activities they enjoy and providing them with advice on how to properly manage foot conditions.


In his spare time, he enjoys going for walks and hikes, and finding the best coffee shops in town.

Ellaine Mumford

Ellaine is a podiatrist with over 10 years of experience. She started her career working at a

children's podiatry clinic in inner city Melbourne before moving to Ballarat. Whilst Ellaine is well

versed in all aspects of podiatry she takes special interest in children's podiatry and

dermatological conditions affecting the feet.



Outside of the clinic, Ellaine is busy running around after her two young children and enjoys

pilates and dancing.

Riley Marsh

Riley is an exercise physiologist with a background in strength and conditioning in the Ballarat region. Riley has a passion for helping people by using structured and individualised exercise programs to improve all aspects of their health. At Ballarat Podiatry, Riley plays an integral role in the management and rehabilitation of foot, ankle and lower limb pathologies.


When he's not in the clinic, you'll find Riley in the gym or out in the countryside, exploring the parks in regional Victoria.
